Mailing list members are people that have subscribed to a given list to receive periodic emails, such as weekly newsletters. If the software app that is used to administer the mailing list permits it, you can also approve members manually, but in this case such email messages may be recognized as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Usually, these members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a link in the emails they receive, or you, being the mailing list administrator, can manually delete them in case they request this or if you decide that some of the members should not belong to the list any longer. Each member will be able to see only their address in the "To" section of the emails they receive, but not the addresses of the remaining mailing list members.
Mailing List Members in Hosting
The feature-rich Majordomo mailing list management software that is included with our hosting will grant you complete control over the members of any list that you create through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You’ll be able to add or delete mailing list members by sending an email to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can do this from any place without even having to log in to the hosting Control Panel. If you add a member manually, they will get a verification request that they need to agree to, so as to become part of the mailing list. As soon as they do that, they’ll receive a message with the list’s policies and features. You’ll also be able to view a complete list of all your mailing list subscribers and to check who is getting your newsletters or any other type of periodic e-correspondence.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
With our semi-dedicated servers, there is no limit on the number of electronic mailing list members that you can add. You can manage the subscriptions without effort using the Majordomo mailing list client that we provide with every account and the moment you set up a new mailing list via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you’ll be able to include new members. The latter will receive an email message in order to confirm that they want to receive your newsletters in the future and when they do that, they will become part of the mailing list. Removing a mailing list member or viewing all current subscribers is also rather easy and entails sending an email message to the mailing list’s admin email address, so you will be able to administer everything even if you are not logged in to your hosting Control Panel. We’ve also got how-to articles with handy information.
